The FPBAA member shirts are plain white with a lovely logo on the left front. At first, I admit, I thought them a bit dull for a shirt that a face painter would wear, until Cynthia pointed out that that is exactly why they did it. “Think of it as a blank canvas and use it to create something special that represents you!” So, I did. Several years ago, I worked with a local graphic artist friend to develop a logo to brandish on everything. We went back and forth about 10 times until we got something we were both happy with.Since then, my logo appears on my car, stickers, signs and the shirts I wear while face painting. I took my shirt to a local embroidery place and had them put my logo on the front right side and on the back where it will be seen by all those people standing in my line. It’s great for name recognition, and makes you more approachable when people can call you by name instead of ‘Tell the lady what you want.” It also gives you that professional edge.
