Pam Trent Come meet FPBAA's artist of the month for November: Pam Trent!
I am a native New Mexican. I was born in Albuquerque, and have lived all but 5 years of my life in Albuquerque and New Mexico. I am married and have four children and three grandchildren. I graduated from Highland High School and attended UNM for about 1-½ years. My course concentration was in Art with a Minor in Art History. I work fulltime; however, I also own my own businesses Way Wicked Art Face and Body Painting and I am Founder/Owner of the Southwest Face and Body Art Guild, which is a Guild that teaches and promotes face and body painting. I am also Founder and Co-Producer of the U.S. Body Painting Festival which is the first Body Painting Competition in the United States. I have also designed make-up for our local community theaters “Musical Theatre Southwest” and Albuquerque Little Theater. Some of the shows I have designed include Sound of Music, Babes In Toyland, James and the Giant Peach, Seussical, Cinderella, Hans Brinker or the Silver Skates and Disney’s 101 Dalmatians.
I love the Southwest and try to keep our beautiful heritage alive in all of my painting. Face and body art are my passion and it is my goal to do my best and to bring this wonderful art form to the masses so that everyone can see the art living, moving, exciting the senses! |
