Jodi Carr has been entertaining with her art at trade shows, corporate parties and company picnics for 25 years. In addition to being an avid face painter she draws caricatures, cuts silhouettes and does henna and glitter tattoos for events through her Silicon Valley based business Arty Party.

Jodi draws caricatures for corporate clients nationwide at trade shows. Her work is often featured in local and international publications. A Bay Area native, she studied at San Francisco Art Institute and San Jose State University where she earned a degree in Graphic Design with an Illustration Concentration. Jodi also studied forensic art at Scottsdale Artists’ School in Scottsdale, Arizona and fashion illustration at Academy of Art College in San Francisco, California.

Jodi is a face painting innovator who has developed many new techniques to advance the art of face painting. She is a sought-after instructor who teaches and shares her techniques at workshops and conventions in the USA, UK and in Europe. Her workshops get rave reviews from beginners to advanced painters alike.

Her most recent success was her participation in live body painting exhibit at the de Young Museum in San Francisco.

Jodi loves doing silk painting and portraits in her spare time. She enjoys volunteer work and has volunteered regularly for The Palo Alto Veteran's Administration and Muscular Dystrophy Association, among others. She resides in San Jose, California with her dachshund Samantha.
