Sunha Fajardo has always found her passion by
expressing her visions through art. She started as a Fashion Illustrator in her
hometown of New York City and graduated from Fashion Institute of Technology
(F.I.T). Her love of the arts has transformed her visions into reality by
becoming a creative and modern Make-Up Artist.
With 16 years of experience, she has been exposed to a number of aspects in the fields of Make Up artistry. She has worked for a variety of media including print, film, commercials and theatre. She has also worked for high end runway fashion shows such as 7th on 6th in Bryant Park, New York City. Some of the fashion designers that she has worked for during Fashion Week were: Bill Blass, Valentino, Michael Kors, Luca Luca, Catherine Malandrino, Heatherette, Custo Barcelona, Badgley Mischka, Esteban Cortazar, Rosa Cha, House of Field, Gottex, Marc Jacobs, Lacoste and many more. She has also worked for Celebrities such as: Ruby Dee, Phylicia Rashad, Maggie Rizer, Donna Summer, Alan Cumming, Serena Williams and many others The skills that she specializes in include:
Her latest work for a Body-Painting event was for the Face Painting and Body Art Association Convention 2008 held in Orlando, FL for the 'Pirates or the Caribbean' theme, in which she was an instructor. She also participated in a Instructors Competition, in which out of 19 World-Renowned Competitors she was the 2ND Place Winner for her "Mrs. Jack Sparrow" vision. She is apart of the MAC Cosmetics Artistry Team, which is a team that focuses on body painting and many other events that represents MAC Cosmetics. The events that she has featured her Body Painting are the following: MAC Viva Glam Casino: Benefit DIFFA Featuring Maggie Rizer, New York City, MAC Deck of Cards Publishing Party, New York City, MAC Viva Glam Casino Shanghai Chinese Dress, New York City - in which she was featured in the New York Post for Body Painting. She has worked for other exclusive events such as: Marc Jacobs White Party Hosted by Marc Jacobs, New York City, Valentino Private Runway Exclusive Fashion Show, New York City, Broadway Bares Hosted by Cyndi Lauper, Alan Cumming, Fran Drescher, New York City, Operation Smile Benefit Fashion Show, New York City, American Eagle Fashion Show, New York City, Ice Cold: Hurricane Katrina Reconstruction Benefit which was Hosted by The Body Of Art & Temptu, New York City and the latest event she has participated in was the: Marc Jacobs 'Arabian Nights' Christmas Party Hosted by Marc Jacobs, New York City.
